Rafter S Performance Horses is conveniently Located 4 miles east of Elkhorn, MB on the #1 Highway. 

Jordynn has been starting colts for many years and training rope horses since 2016.  Primarily he has been starting colts and making rope horses for himself to jackpot on and then sell.  Many of the rope horses he has trained have gone on to be successful rodeo horses from college to pro level; and kids horses to old men horses.  We have sold numerous horses across Canada and into the USA. After spending some time in Arizona roping in the winters of 2023 & 2024 Jordynn decided to go after what he truly loves and to train on horses full time.  

Jordynn prioritizes taking it slow and doing things correct with horses.  The goal isn't to rush the horse, but to create a safe and willing horse.  He ensures exposure on all horses, from getting out for a ride down the road, to checking cattle, to going to work in the branding pen.  They will see sights beyond a perfectly controlled environment.  

Courtney works alongside Jordynn and assists with everything from feeding, grooming and tacking up horses to exercising horses and riding on some colts as well.  She is also the one behind the camera and doing most of the online promoting.   Courtney grew up riding western pleasure horses and started many 2 year olds over the years, mostly competing in 2 yr old futurities.  She has been changing gears in recent years to primarily helping Jordynn with his rope horses. 

We are proud to be running our training program together with our 2 year old son, Kayne alongside us every step of the way.  It's not always easy, but we are grateful to have the opportunity to be raising him in this lifestyle we love so much.
